Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a seasoned Sr Accountant with SAP experience to serve as the business and accounting SME for the General Ledger. This role will leverage accounting expertise to review and validate financial transactions, ensure data accuracy, support compliance, and drive process improvements across the organization.

You will lead testing and validation efforts, manage UAT activities, and collaborate with Product and IST teams to ensure releases align with requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 5+ years accounting experience with 3 years in a role specific to revenue, cost, fixed assets.
• General ledger experience required.
• SAP experience required. Preference for SAP S4 HANNA.
• UAT testing experience or familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and compliance of financial products through testing and validation.
• Manage UAT labs, ensuring effective execution and reporting.
• Monitor release schedules and stakeholder lists.
• Review design documents and provide feedback for sign-off.
• Attend feature demos to assess functionality and alignment with requirements.
• Report UAT progress to stakeholders and obtain sign-off.
