Job summary

Specialized Recruiting Group - Atlanta, GA seeks a senior SAP FICO professional to optimize enterprise finance applications and partner with Finance, IT, and external teams. You will deliver system improvements, provide ongoing production support, and ensure stable operations.

You will leverage a decade of SAP FICO experience across GL, AP, AR, and costing, driving ERP transformations and seamless integrations with SAP modules. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP FICO experience with hands-on configuration and production support.
• Strong knowledge of core SAP Finance and Controlling processes (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center, Product Costing).
• Experience with multiple SAP implementations or ERP transformations.
• Ability to gather requirements, configure solutions, develop specs, test, cutover, and support production.

Responsibilities

• Configure, support, and enhance SAP FICO across enterprise finance processes.
• Translate business needs into functional SAP solutions.
• Participate in ERP projects from requirements through deployment and post-production support.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolution with business and IT teams.
• Create functional documentation and specifications for enhancements and integrations.
• Partner with SAP developers on changes, interfaces, reporting, and improvements.
• Support testing activities, data migration, cutover planning, and user readiness.
• Analyze finance processes and identify opportunities for system/workflow improvements.
• Manage incidents, requests, enhancements, and competing priorities.
• Support integration between SAP Finance and other enterprise applications.
• Maintain documentation and follow change-management and IT support processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and distributed support teams.
• Help maintain application stability and ensure issues meet service expectations.
