Pacific Gas and Electric Company in Oakland is seeking an IT SAP Finance Functional Analyst, Expert to support SAP FICO, and partner with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and support finance applications throughout the full software lifecycle.

This hybrid role requires deep SAP FICO knowledge, experience with ERP interdependencies, and strong communication skills. You will contribute to go-live efforts, training, and post go-live support within PG&E's finance portfolio.

Formación

• BA/BS in Computer Science/ Information Systems, Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience.
• 7 years experience designing, configuring and developing complex solutions using SAP FICO modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, etc.)
• Strong understanding of ERP interrelationships and dependencies of related modules and systems.

Responsabilidades

• Business Process Analysis: Collaborating with stakeholders and finance teams to analyze current financial processes, gathering requirements, and identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• System Configuration and Implementation: Translating business requirements into SAP functionalities by configuring the SAP FICO modules to align with organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
• Design and Documentation: Developing detailed functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW objects) and maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user procedures.
• Testing and Validation: Performing and coordinating various testing cycles, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.
• User Support and Training: Providing end-user support, troubleshooting, and delivering training materials and sessions.
• Reporting and Analysis: Designing and developing financial reports and dashboards (Report Painter/Writer) to support financial analysis and compliance.
• Integration and Collaboration: Working with ABAP developers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Compliance and Improvement: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and optimizing SAP FICO functionalities.
• Other: Certification of IT Finance applications and support for S/4HANA migration programs.
