Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Senior Manager, IT - Software Engineering and Development to lead the Project Elevate development team. You will drive quality, security, and delivery of custom development across SAP S/4HANA and BTP, guiding senior engineers and partnering with multiple stakeholders to align business and architecture priorities.

Qualifications

Ten or more years of relevant software-engineering or enterprise-application experience, including substantial SAP development.
Five or more years of people leadership, delivery leadership, or technical-team management experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the Project Elevate application-development function from demand intake through build, test, deployment, stabilization, and transition to support.
Manage Senior Engineers, engineers, contractors, and delivery partners; set goals, allocate work, and ensure quality, schedule, and business outcomes.
Establish technical direction, standards, security requirements, code-review practices, and quality gates for BFS and vendor development.
Govern design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA and BTP solutions; engage in complex decisions and escalations as needed.
Provide governance across SAP S/4HANA, ABAP, RAP, CDS, Fiori/UI5, OData, and API-based integrations.
