Job summary

IRIUM is seeking a SAP Data Sphere modelling specialist with strong BW/4HANA and ABAP CDS background to join our distributed team from Portugal. You will design data models, data flows, and semantic layers in Data Sphere to enable analytical and planning use cases while configuring integration and replication across SAP and non-SAP sources.

You will drive data migration from BW/4HANA objects to Data Sphere, ensure data lineage and accurate mapping, and support testing, validation, and cutover

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in SAP data management, data warehousing, and analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA (data modeling, transformations, queries, and extraction).
• 2+ years of experience in SAP Data Sphere (SAP Data Warehouse Cloud) including data modeling, data flows, and integration.
• Design data models, data flows, local tables, access controls, views, and semantic layers in Data Sphere to support analytical and planning use cases.
• Configure data integration and replication scenarios using Data Sphere’s data integration and federation capabilities.
• Execute data migration and transformation activities from BW/4HANA objects (Info Providers, CompositeProviders, ADSOs) to Data Sphere entities.
• Ensure accurate and efficient data mapping, lineage, and reconciliation across source and target systems.
• Configure connections between SAP Data Sphere, SAP HANA Cloud, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and non-SAP sources.
• Support testing, validation, and cutover during the rollout phases.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis and security teams to ensure landscape setup, user roles, and access control align with enterprise policies.
• Establish best practices and reusable frameworks for modeling, data flow design, and performance management
