Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP Database Engineer to design, build, and optimize HANA-native data models for S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and standalone HANA platforms. You will translate analytics requirements into performant models and diagnose performance issues across the SAP landscape.

The ideal candidate has deep HANA modeling expertise (calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, SQLScript), strong performance-tuning skills, and knowledge of HANA internals. Remote work for U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of SAP HANA development experience.
• Hands-on with calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript.
• Solid understanding of HANA architecture: in-memory storage, columnar processing, parallel execution.
• Experience with HANA performance tuning tools and methodologies.
• Experience with HANA replication tools (SLT, SDI, SDA).
• Knowledge of HANA security models, including analytic privileges and roles.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA embedded analytics or BW/4HANA modeling.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

• Design, build, and optimize HANA-native data models for S/4HANA BW/4HANA and standalone platforms.
• Translate complex requirements into performant HANA models and objects.
• Diagnose and resolve HANA performance issues across the SAP landscape.
• Leverage modeling techniques like calculation/CDS views and AMDPs for analytics.
