Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator for a 100% remote role in the U.S. You will oversee architecture, installation, configuration, and tuning of SAP landscapes spanning on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Expect close collaboration with security, infra, and SAP functional teams to ensure a stable SAP platform. The ideal candidate has deep SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, and HANA database expertise, plus migrations to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of SAP Basis / platform engineering experience in large enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience administering SAP HANA databases in production.
• Experience operating S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and other NetWeaver systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAP migrations to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong experience with SAP upgrades, EHP/SP application, and system conversions.
• Solid experience with SAP HA/DR strategies, including HANA System Replication and clustering.
• Working knowledge of SAP transport management and Solution Manager ChaRM.
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, install, configure, and operate SAP landscapes across on-prem and cloud.
• Administer SAP HANA databases with backup, replication, and performance tuning.
• Plan and execute SAP system copies, refreshes, and post-copy activities.
• Lead SAP upgrades, EHP installations, and S/4HANA conversions.
• Design and implement SAP migrations to cloud platforms and RISE/Grow environments.
• Configure HA/DR solutions including HANA replication and clustering.
• Manage SAP transport management and ChaRM workflows.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support for production SAP systems.
• Mentor junior Basis engineers and document SOPs.
