Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned SAP System Administrator to own the architecture, installation, configuration, and day-to-day operation of SAP landscapes spanning on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. You will ensure high availability, security, and compliance while partnering with security, infra, and functional teams.

The role covers upgrades, migrations to AWS/Azure/GCP, and SAP RISE/Grow; you will mentor junior Basis engineers and contribute to the platform roadmap,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years SAP Basis/platform engineering experience in large enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on SAP HANA database administration.
• Experience operating S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and other NetWeaver systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAP migrations to AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Strong experience with SAP upgrades, EHP/SP, and system conversions.
• Solid experience with SAP HA/DR strategies including HANA Replication and clustering.
• Working knowledge of SAP transport management and ChaRM.
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, install, configure, and operate SAP landscapes including S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, across on-prem and cloud.
• Administer SAP HANA databases, including installation, sizing, backup, and performance tuning.
• Plan and execute SAP system copies, refreshes, and post-copy automation.
• Lead SAP upgrades, EHP installations, and S/4HANA conversions with minimal disruption.
• Design and implement SAP migrations to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP RISE/Grow environments.
• Configure and operate high-availability and disaster-recovery for SAP, including HANA replication and clustering.
• Manage SAP transport management strategies and ChaRM workflows.
• Monitor SAP performance and health using SAP tools and external APM platforms.
• Develop automation scripts and runbooks to reduce toil.
