Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to design, build, and operate SAP BTP extensions for clean-core, multi-tenant SaaS deployments across SAP S/4HANA environments. You will leverage CAP in Node.js/Java, Fiori UI, and OData services while maintaining strong CI/CD discipline.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, architecture collaboration, and post-go-live support, with remote work options for U.S.-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of SAP development experience, with SAP BTP.
• Strong experience with the SAP CAP model in Node.js and/or Java.
• Hands-on SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 development.
• Solid experience with OData v2/v4 service design and consumption.
• Experience with BTP runtimes (CF/Kyma) and BTP services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD patterns for BTP.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA extension patterns and clean-core principles.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop side-by-side extensions and apps on SAP BTP using CAP in Node.js and/or Java.
• Build modern UI applications with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and Fiori elements.
• Develop and consume OData v2/v4 services integrating with SAP and third-party APIs.
• Implement authentication patterns using XSUAA, IAS, and IPS.
• Deploy and operate apps on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and Kyma runtimes with scaling and monitoring.
• Leverage BTP services across development, integration, workflow, and data management.
• Build and operate event-driven extensions using SAP Event Mesh.
• Apply SAP AI Core/Launchpad for AI use cases with hyperscaler integration.
• Follow clean-core principles, isolating custom logic in BTP.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines with SAP CI/CD or GitHub Actions; support multi-tenant SaaS onboarding.
• Collaborate with architects and consultants to align extensions with SAP architecture.
• Provide hyper-care and post-go-live support with incident response.
• Maintain up-to-date architecture diagrams, design decisions, and runbooks.
