Job summary

Accenture is seeking an SAP Basis Senior Manager to lead complex transformation programs across S/4HANA and cloud platforms. You will define platform strategy, govern multi-workstream initiatives, and drive architecture decisions with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.

You will manage client relationships at CIO/IT Director level and lead a 20+ Basis team across orders and projects, with frequent executive interactions and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years experience in SAP Basis, with 3 enterprise-scale S/4HANA transformation programs in a Senior Platform leadership role.
• Minimum of 5 years across full SAP Basis domain including HANA architecture, HA/DR, security/compliance, and monitoring.
• Minimum of 3 years managing complex multi-geography SAP landscapes in transformation and AMS contexts (RISE, hybrid cloud).
• Minimum of 3 years experience owning client relationships at CIO/IT Director level with SLA accountability and commercial discussions.
• Experience leading and developing teams of 20+ Basis professionals across engagements.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end SAP platform strategy across multi-workstream transformation programs including S/4HANA greenfield/brownfield, BTP/cloud extension, and AMS steady state.
• Lead enterprise-scale SAP landscape architecture decisions including consolidation, HA/DR, and cloud positioning.
• Set platform engineering standards and governance frameworks (Basis delivery, Solution Manager, CCMS, transport governance, change management).
• Own the commercial and delivery relationship for Basis platform scope on roadmaps and SLAs.
• Represent platform perspective in governance; participate in steering and risk/issue forums; travel may be required (0–100%).
