Job summary

Accenture seeks an SAP Basis Manager to lead SAP Basis workstreams on S/4HANA transformations and cloud deployments. You will design technical landscapes, plan cutovers, and ensure go-live readiness, while mentoring a Basis team and coordinating with AMS delivery. Strong HANA, Azure, and governance skills are essential.

Travel up to 0–100% may be required, depending on client needs. A BS/BA or higher with 5+ years of SAP Basis leadership is expected.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in SAP Basis with leadership in S/4HANA implementations or brownfield conversions.

Responsibilities

Lead Basis workstream delivery across S/4HANA Greenfield and Brownfield projects, shaping technical landscape design, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
Architect and govern SAP HANA databases on Azure or equivalent hyperscaler infrastructure, including tuning and backup/recovery design.
Drive high-availability and disaster recovery for SAP environments, including HANA replication and clustering.
Own transport and release governance, CTS+/ChaRM workflows, and CI/CD integration where applicable.
Serve as primary Basis escalation point during hypercare and steady state, leading post-incident reviews and cross-functional resolution.
Lead and develop a Basis team (3–8 engineers), assign work, transfer knowledge, and build capability across teams.
Engage technical stakeholders at lead/PM level, provide landscape status, risk flags, and platform readiness assessments.
