Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer specialized in SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll to lead development for payroll processing. You will design, build, and optimize ABAP solutions, working with HCM/Payroll consultants and client teams to implement technical changes and enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on SAP ABAP development experience
• ABAP proficiency including OOP ABAP, BAPIs/RFCs, IDocs, user exits/enhancement framework, Smart Forms/SAPscript, and custom report/interface development
• Experience developing and supporting custom objects within an SAP Payroll landscape

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms to support SAP Payroll
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and designs
• Interact with SAP HCM/Payroll functional consultants and client teams for technical recommendations
• Prepare programming specs, technical designs, diagrams, and coding logic for modifications
• Debug, tune performance, and troubleshoot ABAP code and payroll objects
• Manage budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning
• Mentor and train junior developers
