Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years SAP HCM functional experience.
• Understanding of HR processes and SAP HCM data structures.
• Experience developing functional specifications for SAP custom developments.
• Experience designing and executing functional test cases for SAP solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical documentation.
• Understanding of SAP custom development object types (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows).

Responsibilities

• Review business requirements, process documentation, and solution designs for custom development objects.
• Translate requirements into detailed functional design specifications, including business rules, calculations, data structures, validations, and error handling.
• Identify SAP HCM/Payroll configuration dependencies, data requirements, and integration touchpoints.
• Facilitate design walkthroughs and collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve open questions.
• Provide clarifications to developers throughout the build phase.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, functional designs, and delivered objects.
• Develop detailed test scenarios, test scripts, and test data aligned to approved functional designs.
• Execute functional testing and validate results against documented specifications.
• Validate calculations, business rules, data flows, error conditions, and exception handling.
• Document test results and maintain evidence for audit and traceability.
• Identify defects, collaborate with developers on expected behavior, retest fixes, and support regression testing.
• Support readiness and handoff activities for subsequent testing phases.
