Job summary
Cleveland-Cliffs Inc, with a primary location in Cleveland, OH, seeks a Senior SAP Engineer – ABAP Development to lead SAP development efforts across FI/CO/SD/MM modules, WRICEF components, and SAP frontend technologies. You will guide technical direction, review transports, and ensure sustainable SAP processes while supporting production systems and strategic projects.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in SAP development, strong ABAP expertise, and experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori/UI5.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years in technical development roles.
- SAP S/4 HANA 2021 or ECC experience.
- Expertise in ABAP incl. ABAP Objects, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on SAP development practices.
- Ensure modules integrate with SAP road map and architecture.
- Lead design, configuration, and approval of WRICEF developments.
- Write detailed technical specifications for workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
- Estimate development effort and coordinate with other developers and business users.
- Provide level 2 support for production systems and projects.
- Drive change control and production promotion processes.
