Versova is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to lead sanitation operations at the Lewiston, Utah facility. You will create and enforce sanitation protocols, supervise leads and workers, and align activities with food safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with Production, QA, and Maintenance to optimize schedules and ensure audits are passed.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in food processing sanitation, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and oversee facility-wide sanitation protocols.
• Train, coach, and mentor a team of Sanitation Leads and Workers; may be responsible for personnel actions including recruitment, hiring, promotion, performance management, discipline, and termination in alignment with organizational policies and applicable laws.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance departments to optimize sanitation schedules and processes.
• Support the sanitation audit program.
• Analyze sanitation metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead investigations into sanitation-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage relationships with chemical suppliers and sanitation equipment vendors.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all sanitation activities.
• Represent the sanitation department in management meetings and regulatory inspections.
• Stay informed about industry best practices.
• Other duties as assigned
