Job summary

Versova is seeking a Sanitation Technician to support daily egg processing operations in Lewiston, Utah. You will help maintain cleanliness, biosecurity, and overall facility readiness to ensure safe, high-quality production

Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing equipment, assisting with packaging during production, and performing basic preventive maintenance while following safety and LOTO procedures. This is a full-time role requiring physical effort and weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Experience applying sanitation procedures and using cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance concepts.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the packaging and stacking of eggs during production hours.
• Clean processing machines and surrounding areas during downtime using Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Sanitize processing areas using high-pressure water hoses and approved cleaning chemicals.
• Transport waste to disposal areas and maintain cleanliness of work zones.
• Follow biosecurity and sanitation protocols strictly.
• Perform daily and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance checks and tasks on equipment.
• Identify and report potential maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Comply with all company policies, including food safety, safety, and animal welfare standards.
• Other duties as assigned
