Job summary

Axiom Path, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sanctions Screening SME for a fully remote role supporting the Compliance Analytics function across the Americas, focusing on Fircosoft systems. This position partners with senior compliance and risk leaders to ensure robust screening and regulatory alignment.

You will work on Fircosoft Version 6 upgrade projects, configure and tune filters, and validate screening logic. Strong SQL and Power BI skills will support data-driven decisions and reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial services with a focus on sanctions screening and BSA-AML.
• Hands-on Fircosoft experience across modules and configurations.
• Experience supporting Fircosoft Version 6 upgrades and validation readiness.
• Strong knowledge of screening filters, tuning, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Sanctions Screening SME, explaining screening logic, filters, and system design to stakeholders.
• Support Fircosoft Version 6 upgrade via configuration analysis and tuning.
• Analyze screening inputs, matches, and outputs across transaction monitoring workflows.
• Define business requirements, rulesets, and screening logic documentation.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Technology, and QA to test screening behavior.
• Investigate false positives/negatives and justify decisions from risk/regulatory perspective.
• Develop process flows, data models, and documentation for screening systems.
• Perform data analysis using SQL and create reports/visualizations to support decisions.

This team operates at the intersection of risk, regulatory oversight, and technology, ensuring sanctions screening systems effectively detect and prevent illicit financial activity. The group works closely with senior compliance leaders, model validation teams, and technology partners to enhance screening capabilities and maintain regulatory integrity in a highly scrutinized environment.

How You Will Make An Impact:

• Serve as a Sanctions Screening SME, explaining screening logic, filter behavior, and system design to stakeholders and model validators


• Support the Fircosoft Version 6 upgrade, including configuration analysis, filter tuning, and validation readiness

Requirements Are you a proven Sanctions Screening SME with deep Fircosoft and model validation expertise?

• 10+ years of experience in financial services, with strong focus on sanctions screening / BSA-AML


• Deep hands-on experience with Fircosoft (Continuity, Trust, Classic)


• Experience supporting or implementing Fircosoft Version 6 (strongly preferred)


• Strong understanding of screening filters, tuning, and matching logic


• Experience explaining and defending screening models in model validation or regulatory settings


• Solid SQL skills and experience working with data analysis/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)


• Proven ability to translate technical screening logic into business and risk explanations


• Strong communication skills working with compliance, risk, and technology stakeholders
