Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Senior Sanctions Screening Analyst to serve as Fircosoft SME with a model validation focus, leading enhancements to screening logic and supporting Version 6 upgrades. You will partner with Compliance, Risk and Technology to ensure accurate transaction monitoring, analyze inputs and outputs, and translate complex rules into business context for regulators.

The role is fully remote and requires 10+ years in financial services with strong BSA-AML and data analysis skills,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial services with a focus on sanctions screening/BSA-AML.
• Hands-on Fircosoft experience (Continuity, Trust, Classic).
• Experience supporting Fircosoft Version 6 upgrades.
• Strong understanding of screening filters, tuning, and matching logic.
• Experience defending screening models in regulatory settings.
• SQL skills and data visualization with Power BI.
• Ability to translate technical screening logic into business and risk explanations.
• Strong communication with compliance, risk, and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Explain screening logic and system design to stakeholders and model validators.
• Support Fircosoft Version 6 upgrade, including configuration analysis and validation readiness.
• Analyze how screening inputs, matches, and outputs are generated across monitoring workflows.
• Define and document business requirements, rulesets, and screening logic.
• Partner with Compliance, Technology, and QA to test and validate screening behavior.
• Investigate false positives/negatives and explain system decisions from risk perspective.
• Develop process flows, data models, and documentation for screening systems.
• Perform data analysis using SQL and develop reporting/visualizations to support decision-making.
