Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Cloud and Storage Engineer to develop and implement full-scale SAN architecture for a large EMC-based SAN infrastructure supporting a major federal agency.

The ideal candidate will design and implement storage solutions, drive capacity planning, and create standards for configuration, replication, security, and disaster recovery across a multi-enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science, business, or related discipline.
• Eight years of relevant work experience may substitute for degree requirement.
• Significant experience with Dell EMC products such as OneFS, MDS SAN switches, Unity, Isilon, VNS, and Data Domain; RecoverPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements full-scale Storage Area Network (SAN) architecture for a large EMC-based SAN infrastructure.
• Defines and sets a strategic direction for the SAN and backup environment.
• Designs and implements customer storage requirements into an enterprise solution.
• Provides overall storage and backup capacity planning and utilization reporting.
• Produces standards for storage configuration, optimization, replication, virtualization, security, and disaster recovery.
