Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Senior Sample Management Specialist in Maryland to coordinate sample lifecycle activities across sites and clients. You will oversee shipments, inventory, accessioning, and discrepancy resolution while ensuring compliance and timely client reporting.

You will support cross-functional teams, manage data integrity, and prepare KPI reports using Power BI, Excel, and ERP systems. This hybrid role combines on-site collaboration with remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field (required).
• Minimum of 5 years in biospecimen operations, clinical research, or laboratory management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and biospecimen handling standards.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and in client delivery environments.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with LIMS, biorepository systems, and data integration platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned client projects related to sample management.
• Attend project kickoff, operational delivery and governance meetings.
• Develop project-specific sample logistics plans and monitor end-to-end activities.
• Assist the Project Manager with site training as needed.
• Review and approve sample movement requests.
• Support scope changes and billable activities.
