Job summary

LabConnect is looking for a Senior Biospecimen Project Manager to manage biospecimen lifecycle and analytical data from clinical studies. This role is fully remote, open to candidates based in the United States, excluding certain areas in California.

The position requires strong experience in life sciences, biospecimen management, and project management skills. Responsibilities include oversight of specimen management, ensuring data accuracy, and leading junior personnel.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of directly related experience in life sciences or clinically related fields.
• Experience in biospecimen lifecycle management or clinical laboratory analysis required.
• Project Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive biospecimen lifecycle management from receipt to analysis.
• Ensure accurate specimen metadata and communicate updates.
• Provide site support and resolve queries.
• Setup and maintain a sample tracker for clinical studies.
• Create and manage project plans and data transfer plans.
• Contribute to database locks and ensure specimen results.
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior personnel.
