Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a Senior Manager to join its SALT practice in New York. You will advise on multistate tax issues, coordinate with clients, and lead complex tax projects across states.

The role covers residency issues, sales tax, nexus studies, and pass-through allocations, with a focus on delivering compliant, strategic solutions while enabling team growth in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field required.
• 8+ years of experience in state taxation.
• Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis.
• CPA certification required.
• Experience with tiered flow-through entities and investment vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Multistate consulting and compliance services, including: allocation, apportionment, modifications, nexus, unitary filings, and flow-through taxation.
• Residency issues.
• Sales tax consulting, including nexus and taxability studies.
• Audit defense.
• Research and writing.
• Due diligence
• Coordinating and collaborating with other in-house tax professionals, as well as clients.
• Reviewing and consulting on pass-through entity issues including estimated payment, withholding and composite tax calculations as well as investor packages including state K-1s and grids and related filings.
• Researching and analyzing state tax legislation and its impact to clients.
• Assisting with various tax consulting projects including research and writing projects related to tax planning, restructuring, and accounting for income taxes.
