Job summary

Global Tax Management seeks a Senior Analyst for our SALT - Indirect tax practice. You will prepare and manage sales and use tax refund claims for multiple corporate clients across U.S. states, with minimal travel and a hybrid Wayne, PA schedule.

You will review invoices, identify tax issues, draft exemption arguments, gather supporting documents, and collaborate with clients to keep refunds on track. Strong Excel skills and data workflow experience (Alteryx) are valued, with growth

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ sales and use tax experience in corporate or professional services.
• Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience preparing refund or reverse audit claims.
• Strong Excel and Office Suite proficiency.
• Ability to manage high volume across multiple clients and deadlines.
• Impeccable organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience with data automation or AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support refund engagements for multiple clients with many active claims.
• Review invoices and identify sales tax issues; prepare exemption arguments.
• Gather and prepare supporting documents for claims.
• Collaborate with team and clients to support reverse audit claims across states.
• Draft taxability analyses and refund claims across states.
• Extract data from client ERP systems and interpret data for claims.
• Communicate with clients to request data and keep engagements on track.
• Prepare documentation for state auditors, appeals, and hearings.
• Track state filing deadlines and prepare for additional appeal levels.
• Develop working knowledge of Alteryx for automation.
