Global Tax Management, a leading corporate tax services firm, seeks a Senior Analyst in Wayne, PA for a hybrid role with up to 2 days in office. You will manage sales and use tax refund claims, review invoices, identify tax issues, and prepare exemptions and supporting documents.

You'll work independently with clients, maintain deadlines, and develop tax automation skills using tools like Alteryx and Excel, with room for growth in indirect tax expertise.

Competenze

• 2+ years of sales and use tax experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
• 1 year hands-on experience preparing sales and use tax refund or reverse audit claims.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage high volume across multiple clients and deadlines.
• Impeccable organization skills and attention to detail.
• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting/finance or related field.
• Consulting or professional services experience preferred.
• Experience with data automation or AI tools a plus.
• CPA not required; refund experience in a single state is welcome.

Mansioni

• Support sales and use tax refund engagements for multiple clients, often with dozens of active claims per client.
• Perform day-to-day reverse audit work, including invoice review and exemption argument preparation.
• Collaborate with the team and clients to support reverse audit claims with states and vendors.
• Use tax expertise and research tools to draft taxability analyses and refund claims in any state.
• Extract data from client ERP systems and prepare refund claims from gathered data.
• Communicate with clients to request data, respond to requests, and keep engagements on track.
• Prepare documentation for state auditor inquiries, appeals, and hearings.
• Track filing deadlines and prepare claims for appeal levels as needed.
• Develop knowledge of Alteryx to automate data processes for tax purposes.
