Job summary

Progress Software is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Salesforce) to join our Enterprise Applications and Data team. You will lead design, development, and support of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrations, delivering scalable, AI-assisted customer experiences.

You will mentor engineers, drive DevOps and best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve customer success operations.

Qualifications

10+ years of Salesforce experience in enterprise-scale environments.
3+ years leading technical delivery or as Salesforce Technical Lead.
Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, APIs, and integrations.
Deep expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud and its components.
Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and portals.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, Jira, Copado, and DX.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, deployment, and support of Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
Design customer-facing experiences including portals, knowledge bases, and case flows.
Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, and APIs.
Drive AI-enabled engineering practices to improve quality and productivity.
Evaluate Salesforce AI capabilities like Einstein for measurable value.
Design and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise apps.
Collaborate with architects to ensure scalable, robust solutions.
Troubleshoot production issues across Salesforce and integrated systems.
Mentor developers and promote DevOps practices and governance.
