Job summary

KIPP Foundation seeks a Salesforce Solution Architect to serve as the technical authority for our Salesforce platforms. You will lead architecture, design scalable solutions across NPSP, Nonprofit Cloud, and Experience Cloud, and govern integrations and DevOps practices across a national charity network.

You will collaborate with technology leadership, admins, developers, product owners, and partners to deliver sustainable solutions with strong governance and security.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise technology experience, with 3+ years specifically in a Salesforce Architect or Lead Developer role.
• Deep expertise in Salesforce architecture across Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, NPSP, and Nonprofit Cloud.
• Expert proficiency in Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with LDV strategies, data modeling, migration planning, platform optimization, and Salesforce Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Hands-on experience with Agentforce, Einstein AI, Einstein Copilot, Prompt Builder, and AI-driven workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise technology strategy and translate business requirements into durable architectures.
• Architect integrations across Salesforce, Azure, SQL Server, and third-party systems using REST/SOAP/Bulk APIs, Platform Events, and middleware patterns.
• Provide architectural direction, code reviews, and governance for external contractors and partners.
• Own the Salesforce platform roadmap, including org strategy, sandbox management, security, data architecture, deployment, and release management.
• Lead data governance, data modeling, data quality, and master data management across the organization.
• Monitor platform health through capacity planning, license optimization, performance tuning, and debt management.
• Apply Salesforce Well-Architected Framework principles across design, development, and implementations.
• Lead planning for migration from NPSP to Nonprofit Cloud and define customization standards.
