Job summary

Cognizant is hiring a Senior Salesforce Security & Platform Health Engineer to identify, remediate, and prevent Salesforce vulnerabilities while ensuring org health, scalability, and performance.

You will work with platform architects, developers, DevSecOps teams, security stakeholders, and client partners to strengthen the Salesforce ecosystem and accelerate secure development using AI tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Salesforce platform experience with deep expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce security architecture.
• Hands-on experience performing vulnerability remediation and secure coding across Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Strong knowledge of SAST/security analysis tools including Checkmarx, Salesforce Code Analyzer, PMD, and SonarQube.
• Understanding of Salesforce governor limits, CPU optimization, query tuning, DML best practices, batch processing, and platform scalability.
• Experience with CRUD/FLS controls, sharing models, authentication mechanisms, and secure coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform Salesforce security assessments and remediate vulnerabilities across Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs, and integrations.
• Analyze and remediate findings from SAST and code-scanning tools including Salesforce Code Analyzer, PMD, Checkmarx, SonarQube, and related security platforms.
• Refactor and optimize Apex code to improve governor limit compliance, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Conduct Salesforce Org Health Reviews, evaluating code quality, technical debt, security posture, automation efficiency, data quality, release readiness, and governance controls.
• Leverage Generative AI, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and Salesforce AI capabilities to accelerate secure development, code reviews, vulnerability remediation, documentation, and root cause analysis.
