Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to architect and deliver scalable Salesforce-based solutions that align with enterprise standards.

You will guide engineering teams, drive integration strategies, and ensure data quality while partnering with Sales, Product Owners, and Enterprise Architecture. The role emphasizes hands-on design, leadership, and cloud-first modernization across desktop and mobile platforms in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 - 5 + years of experience in enterprise application development, with deep expertise in Salesforce platform engineering preferred.
• Proven experience in solution architecture, technical leadership, and large-scale system implementations.
• Strong experience in Salesforce technologies: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, APIs, and platform configuration.
• Experience with enterprise integrations (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms such as Informatica, MuleSoft, TIBCO).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, system integration patterns, and cloud architecture principles.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and architecture of Salesforce-based solutions aligned to enterprise standards.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
• Define and enforce design patterns, coding standards, and development best practices across the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Serve as a technical expert for Salesforce capabilities and integrations.
• Mentor engineers and provide governance for development activities, including code reviews and release management.
• Design and implement complex integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems.
• Ensure robust data architecture, quality, governance, and performance optimization.
• Lead the development and delivery of complex features and large-scale initiatives.
