Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Enterprise Engineer to design and deliver scalable Salesforce CRM and billing solutions, integrating Salesforce with pricing, contracting, and downstream finance systems. You will join a small, high-ownership team partnering with Sales Operations, Account Management, Billing, and Institutional Operations to unlock revenue and improve forecasting.

The role requires 6+ years in Salesforce development, strong REST API integrations, and a solid software engineering

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, LWC, Flows, and security/sharing models.
• Proven track record building and operating integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware/ETL tooling.
• Experience writing technical design documents and presenting trade-offs to cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Legal, Finance, and Engineering
• Solid foundation in software engineering fundamentals (testable architectures, separation of concerns, performance/scalability patterns) in Salesforce context
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and CI/CD pipelines, and multi-sandbox management
• Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Salesforce solution design and delivery using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and managed packages across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Build and operate integrations between Salesforce and internal platforms using REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware, ETL tooling, and contracting systems (e.g., Ironclad)
• Author technical design documents addressing security, data architecture, system limits, and scalability
• Partner with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
• Drive engineering quality through code reviews, design reviews, on-call rotations, root cause analysis, and runbooks
• Mentor junior engineers on Salesforce engineering best practices
