Job summary

Natera, Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Engineer in Austin, TX to design and evolve our Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms.

You will own the technical architecture, govern platform standards, and drive transformative initiatives impacting thousands of users across go-to-market and customer success teams. Responsibilities include building end-to-end Salesforce solutions, establishing standards, reducing technical debt, and leading major initiatives from design through production.

Qualifications

• On-site in Austin, TX three days per week.
• 8+ years of Salesforce architecture and implementation experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and SOQL optimization.
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable integrations (REST APIs, OAuth, SSO, MuleSoft).
• Experience architecting multi-org, multi-cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Governor Limits, performance optimization, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions integrating Sales and Service Cloud; establish metadata frameworks, custom objects, and data models for scalability.
• Define platform standards, coding guidelines, and integration patterns; ensure compliance with Governor Limits and platform constraints.
• Lead org hygiene initiatives, technical debt reduction, and long-term roadmap evolution.
• Design secure integrations (MuleSoft, AWS, REST/OAuth) between Salesforce and enterprise systems.
• Lead implementation of key initiatives (data cloud, person accounts, skill-based routing) from design through production.
• Guide Salesforce developers and admins; conduct design reviews and architecture validation.
• Partner with product, business systems, and engineering leadership on roadmap alignment.
