Job summary

Entergy Corporation in New Orleans is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer, Senior Lead to design, develop, and maintain marketing automation solutions supporting customer communications and regulatory commitments. This role partners with IT, CRM, and enterprise data teams to ensure data integrity, security, and timely outreach across campaigns while scaling the Marketing Cloud stack.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience with a bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree 8 years of experience in cloud engineering is required.
• Proficiency with AMPscript, HTML, and CSS; SSJS and REST/SOAP APIs grow with level.
• Understanding of data models, SQL, and data extension management; Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, MobileConnect, and Audience Builder.
• Design data extensions, segmentation logic, and contact data models aligned to utility customer hierarchies.
• Monitor platform health, deliverability, and performance; ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM/TCPA and regulatory rules.
• Lead Agile practices, mentor teammates, and drive governance and architecture decisions.
