Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software development practices, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and solid knowledge of one or more additional languages.
• Experience with software architecture, design patterns and solution design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts, priorities, risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to influence decisions without formal authority and collaborate across senior management levels.
• Experience leading multiple initiatives concurrently while ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, customer-service environment.
• U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate development estimates to support feasibility studies and planning activities.
• Collaborate with architects to create, maintain and approve software designs, ensuring alignment with solution architecture and trade-off considerations.
• Expand, maintain and assess software with a focus on performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Develop, run, and maintain unit, functional and integration tests with an emphasis on automation and continuous integration.
• Offer technical leadership for overall performance testing, ensuring plans and outcomes meet non-functional requirements.
• Plan and oversee deployment activities, sequencing and release strategies in non-production and production environments.
• Investigate emerging technologies that could enhance applications and development practices.
• Identify and remediate technical debt, weighing development effort against cost.
• Mentor and coach team members on architecture, design, development and operational topics.
• Review code to ensure quality, compliance with standards, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Perform additional duties as directed by leadership.
