Job summary

FormativGroup is seeking an experienced Salesforce Account Executive - Financial Services to drive bookings and expand strategic accounts across wealth management, asset management, and banking sectors. You will own the full sales lifecycle, build executive relationships, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to close multi-year consulting engagements.

The role emphasizes consultative selling and deep industry insight, with 50% travel and preference for Northeast US residence.

Qualifications

8-10+ years selling complex technology consulting, platform implementation, or digital transformation services to mid-sized/enterprise clients.
Experience with Wealth/Asset Mgmt, Banking, or Financial Services preferred.
Proven track record hitting $4-6M annual bookings and managing multi-stakeholder pursuits.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute targeted account and territory strategies across full sales lifecycle.
Drive new-logo acquisition and expand existing financial services accounts.
Lead pursuit strategy with cross-functional teams (Industry SME, Solution Engineering, Delivery, Partners).
Manage opportunities, forecasts, and account plans with executives.
Build executive-level relationships and shape funded priorities and buying processes.
