Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Salesforce Engineering Lead in the United States to drive cutting-edge solutions for clients. The role combines hands-on development with QA, client communication and project coordination to ensure high-quality, scalable systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, certifications (Dev 201) and familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure, Heroku, MongoDB and related technologies. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer (Dev 201) required
• Certified Salesforce Advanced Developer preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience in Salesforce development, with prior consulting experience desired
• Proven experience with AWS, GCP and/or Azure platforms, Heroku, MongoDB, and/or Google Firebase products
• Experience with MuleSoft, Marketing Cloud, and UI/UX design
• Demonstrated analytical capabilities with extreme attention to detail
• Desire to learn new systems and technical solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office Products and Google apps
• Ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop and maintain all development.
• Help manage and contribute to internal applications.
• Set up templated applications from the AppExchange with clients
• Troubleshoot/reproduce bugs and errors as well as execute test cases (manual or automated) based on business requirements and/or technical specifications.
• Post-release testing and analysis of defects or configuration issues; ensure quality through the system development life cycle.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality through the SDLC while meeting deadlines.
• Collaborate with project team and engineers to develop test strategies and plans.
• Communicate to all internal stakeholders and log issues; acknowledge client issues and respond within timelines.
• Communicate directly with clients to identify core issues and provide progress updates on open tickets.
• Document and communicate estimated timeframe and scope hours/cost for fixes.
• Determine and coordinate time estimates and priorities; coordinate with engineering leadership for demo/setup time requirements.
• Work with sales team to design demos and implement environments (not conducting demos).
