Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Salesforce Software Developer to administer, configure, and develop Salesforce Service Cloud and integrated systems that support Customer Experience operations. You will collaborate with analysts, product owners, architects, QA, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

The role combines hands-on development with platform administration, including Apex, LWC, Flows, and REST APIs, while guiding SDLC activities and ensuring security and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce application development experience, including 2+ years supporting Salesforce Service Cloud or related experience.
• Strong experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, and REST APIs.
• Experience supporting the full SDLC within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-team work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support Salesforce Service Cloud and integrated enterprise applications for CX operations.
• Lead complex Salesforce enhancements using declarative configuration and custom development.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, architects, QA, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership during design reviews and development planning, adhering to best practices and security standards.
• Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise apps using REST APIs and middleware.
• Plan and execute unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing for reliable releases.
• Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in Agile processes including backlog refinement, sprints, and releases.
• Mentor junior developers and promote platform knowledge and development quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency via automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
