Job summary

Casper in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Engineer for its Direct To Consumer tech team to build software across Salesforce Order Management and related platforms. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and design to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.

The role requires 7+ years of software engineering, 5+ years on the SFDC platform, and a Salesforce Developer or Architect certification. Hybrid work in Richmond, base salary $130k–$150k with strong benefits.

Qualifications

At least 7 years of Software Engineering experience.
At least 5 years on SFDC platform.
Certified as a Salesforce Developer or Architect.
Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and post purchase concepts (adjustments, refunds, returns, etc).
Strong understanding of Apex development, Lightning Web Components, and flows.
Experience building robust REST APIs.
Open‑minded and collaborative team player.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pro‑active and able to own project responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Provide Salesforce Order Management technology expertise for solution design and technical implementation
Design, code, unit test, and review platform improvements
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to implement Salesforce platform solutions
Translate business challenges into well‑designed Salesforce solutions
Develop end‑to‑end applications across systems to delight users
Stay updated with Salesforce releases and roadmaps
Mentor less experienced developers on the team
