Job summary

GreatAmerica is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce to design, develop, and optimize Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud. You will use Apex and Lightning Web Components, follow best practices, and implement robust tests and logging.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in CI/CD workflows with Copado, and ensure secure, scalable integrations while driving architectural integrity and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Information Systems or equivalent. Salesforce certified Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform Developer I and II are required
• 5-8 years’ developer and admin experience working in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
• Advanced knowledge of developing Lightning web Components and the Aura framework
• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Advanced knowledge of REST/SOAP API concepts and experience utilizing rest-based services in Salesforce
• Advanced knowledge of Git and source control management processes like pull request reviews
• Experience with Copado in CI/CD environments
• Experience in Scrum/Agile methodologies and SAFe is a plus
• Strong data modeling and security/access control knowledge
• Ability to work with multiple teams in an Agile train and drive improvements

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex and LWC
• Practice test-driven development with unit tests and code coverage
• Implement logging and diagnostic tools in deployed solutions
• Collaborate with CI/CD tooling like Copado to promote changes across orgs
• Handle PR reviews and merge conflicts in Git workflows
• Refactor and optimize Salesforce solutions for value and productivity
• Troubleshoot applications and data issues and fix bugs
• Extend features in existing Salesforce environments and integrate with external systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide data modeling guidance
• Ensure security sharing and access provisioning in Salesforce
