Job summary

Systems Integration, Inc. (SII) in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Software Developer / Manager to lead Salesforce solutions for a government-contracted contact center.

You will oversee design, development, testing, and maintenance, ensuring stable, secure operations with case management, reporting, automation, and integrations. You will guide technical standards, drive DevOps practices, and collaborate with program teams to deliver mission-critical customer service capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience including Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce or AI-enabled Salesforce service automation.
• Experience supporting Salesforce environments for contact centers, government programs, regulated environments, or multi-cloud implementations.
• Strong knowledge of case management, knowledge management, workflows, routing, escalation, dashboards, reporting, and automation.
• Experience with DevOps, release management, testing, UAT, configuration management, production support, and tools such as Git, Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Service Cloud and Agentforce solutions.
• Manage full SDLC: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, release management, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce capabilities using Apex, LWC, Flow, APIs, integrations, dashboards, and reporting.
• Configure and support Agentforce features: AI-driven knowledge, automated responses, routing, and productivity tools.
• Align Salesforce solutions with contact center workflows, SOPs, IVR/call flows, queues, escalation paths, and reporting needs.
• Oversee integrations across Salesforce, Agentforce, Genesys, BOX, VETS-4212, and secure data transfer and reporting.
