Job summary

US Tech Solutions seeks a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and support customized Salesforce apps on Service Cloud and Experience Cloud. You will build workflows, integrate third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs, and ensure governance and security.

You will mentor peers and participate in CI/CD deployments using Salesforce DX and related tools. You will implement Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flow, collaborate with city agencies, and help maintain data quality across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or other advanced certifications strongly preferred.
• 3-5+ years of technical working experience in Salesforce development.
• Experience with Agile project methodology and practice.
• Experience with mobile application development.
• Experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration/middleware tools.
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning development (Apex, LWC, Visualforce).
• Data modeling, management, and security.
• Deep understanding of data security best practices and balancing availability with security.
• Experience in a government setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flow/process automation.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Coordinate changes with 311 operations, city agencies, and technical teams through development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for functional areas.
• Mentor other developers and conduct code reviews.
• Support release management with Git, sandbox strategies, and CI/CD tools.
• Evaluate processes to reduce manual work and increase quality and reuse.
• Stay updated with Salesforce trends and propose improvements.
