Job summary

Sophos is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design and build enterprise-grade applications on the Salesforce platform. You will configure, customize, and integrate Salesforce solutions, lead delivery on complex projects, and mentor junior developers in an Agile, remote-friendly environment.

The role requires 5+ years of SFDC experience, Apex coding, and CI/CD using Maven, Ant, Jenkins, and GitHub. A Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is expected. Competitive U.S. salary is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related technical field and 5 years of experience with application development.
• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) configuration and customization and CRM development.
• 5+ years of experience with Apex programming language, WSDL and RESTful APIs.
• 5+ years of experience using Maven, Ant, Jenkins, and GitHub for CI/CD and version control.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies and JIRA.
• 5+ years of experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles, data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade applications on the Salesforce platform, including configuration, customization, and integration.
• Build and present proof-of-concept applications to demonstrate feasibility and address business challenges identified by stakeholders and product owners.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead assignments related to Salesforce application development across cross-functional teams.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Apex and related Salesforce development tools; manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for junior developers; assist with training and task delegation.
