Job summary

Blu Omega is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, build, and support secure Salesforce solutions for federal programs. The role covers Apex, Lightning, Flow, SOQL, data models, security, integrations, and deployments across environments.

Remote work with eligibility for government credentials and strong collaboration with agile teams are expected. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, government or health IT exposure, and Salesforce DX familiarity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in architecture or admin.
• Demonstrated Apex, SOQL, Lightning, Flow, and security design capabilities.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations via APIs and external apps.
• Familiarity with governance, testing, deployment, and release practices.
• Ability to obtain government credentials, including PIV where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce solutions aligned with requirements.
• Translate requirements into scalable Salesforce architecture, data models, automation, and UX.
• Develop and maintain Apex classes/triggers, Lightning components, Flow, SOQL, reports, and dashboards.
• Support integrations between Salesforce and external apps and services.
• Configure and maintain Salesforce security: profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing.
• Apply development, governance, data quality, testing, and deployment best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues across Salesforce environments; participate in code reviews and deployments.
• Collaborate with team to deliver enhancements; identify risks and propose improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation; support Agile releases.
