Job summary

Commence is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to lead development and migration efforts for a CMS case-management program, moving from Pega to Salesforce. You will collaborate with Data Solutions Architect on data flow, governance, and secure data exchange, while mentoring junior engineers.

This is a remote role open to qualified candidates nationwide. You will ensure compliance with CMS ARS, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST while delivering scalable, high-performance solutions for federal contracts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
5+ years hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Direct experience with legacy case-management platform migrations.
3+ years supporting federal contracts; CMS experience preferred.
Strong communication skills translating business needs into Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead development of Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning components, and Flow to replicate and improve legacy Pega case-management workflows.
Design migration strategy to move data, rules and workflows from Pega to Salesforce with fidelity.
Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance Salesforce applications and enhancements.
Recommend Salesforce architecture patterns, tools, and integration strategies for Architecture Review.
Design multi-system integrations between Salesforce and AWS, ensuring data governance.
Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices.
Translate CMS business needs into technical Salesforce solutions via the Senior Business Analyst.
