Job summary

Follett Software is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Global Sales Operations team. You will design, build, and enhance Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ, leveraging Apex, LWC, Flow, and SOQL/SOSL.

You will lead technical design for enhancements and ensure scalable, well-documented code. You will configure objects, integrate with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, and maintain security, governance, and deployment processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4–7+ years of Salesforce development experience with hands-on experience in Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce platform development best practices.
Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying Salesforce solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.
Experience building and supporting Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, and related business processes.
Working knowledge of Salesforce integrations, data models, security concepts, and platform configuration, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, sharing rules, permission sets, deployment processes, and release management practices.
Experience with Salesforce development lifecycle processes, including source control, code reviews, automated testing, Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or similar DevOps and deployment tools.
Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and experience partnering with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve Salesforce platform, integration, data, and performance-related issues.
Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
Experience supporting Salesforce environments with evolving business processes, integrations, data updates, enhancements, and ongoing platform improvements.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while ensuring solutions meet organizational standards for quality, security, compliance, and performance.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
Configure and maintain standard and custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, approval processes, flows, etc.
Design and lead integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
Manage security settings including profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, and sharing rules.
Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards, testing discipline, and deployment readiness.
Create and maintain clear documentation for system design, technical specifications, and processes.
Provide Level 2/3 support for Salesforce incidents and production issues.
Collaborate with stakeholders and mentors to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
