Job summary

North South Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to build and maintain Salesforce solutions for DoD customers. You will design and write high-quality code, mentor junior developers, and work with the Salesforce Architect to deliver secure, reliable features. This role can be remote and requires US citizenship.

You will lead a team, design Apex/LWC solutions, and integrate with external systems using REST and SOAP. Stay current on Salesforce releases to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow.
• Integrations using REST and SOAP APIs and Platform Events.
• Governor limits, asynchronous Apex, and performance tuning.
• Git and Salesforce DX with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Copado.
• Writing unit tests and leading code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Junior Salesforce Developers to deliver DoD solutions.
• Design, build, and test custom Salesforce solutions.
• Lead technical design for complex features and break work into tasks.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs and Platform Events.
• Write secure code with proper sharing rules and CUI protection.
• Write unit tests and maintain strong code coverage.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Manage source control and deployments through the CI/CD pipeline.
• Troubleshoot production defects and performance issues.
• Document technical designs and code for sustainment and ATO.
• Stay current on Salesforce releases and recommend improvements.
