Job summary

Smith Johnson is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, customize, and deploy Salesforce solutions for the Michigan Enterprise Contact Center team within the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. The role focuses on SFDX-based development, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and multi‑system integration.

You will own release cycles, ensure security and performance, and mentor the team through Maintenance & Operations transitions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce including SFDX and Development Lifecycle.
• 6+ years of strong Salesforce development experience.
• 5+ years with Service Cloud and Digital Experience Sites.
• Experience migrating from Classic to Lightning and Visualforce Portals to Digital Experience Sites.
• 5+ years with GoMeddo Scheduling customization or similar scheduling products.
• 5+ years with Conga Composer.
• 3+ years with Salesforce Lightning/LWC.

Responsibilities

• Define technical requirements with stakeholders and align with customer goals.
• Own release cycles and deploy updates to Salesforce applications.
• Maintain technical standards and guidelines for the development team.
• Collaborate with other systems for cross‑platform integration.
• Ensure solutions meet security guidelines and performance goals.
• Communicate technical concepts to executives and stakeholders.
• Develop training plans for transitioning to Maintenance & Operations.
• Hands‑on experience with REST APIs for integrations.
