Job summary

RICEFW Technologies Inc. seeks a Salesforce Developer to design, develop and implement customizable Salesforce solutions for the Michigan Enterprise Contact Center team at the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget.

You will work with stakeholders to define technical requirements, manage release cycles, ensure security standards, and mentor the development team through maintenance and operations. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of Salesforce experience, with Service Cloud,

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Experience with Service Cloud and Digital Experience Sites.
  • Hands-on Lightning and LWC development.
  • Migration from Classic to Lightning and Visualforce Portals to Digital Experience Sites.
  • Experience with GoMeddo Scheduling or similar tools.
  • Experience with API integrations and SSO implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Define technical requirements with stakeholders and ensure alignment with customer goals.
  • Ensure that technical direction aligns with the client’s long-term strategy.
  • Own release cycles and deploy new/updated applications.
  • Maintain technical responsibility across project environments.
  • Create internal development guidelines and enforce standards.
  • Collaborate with developers for cross-system integrations.
  • Ensure adherence to SOM security guidelines throughout the lifecycle.
  • Communicate strategic technical concepts to executives and stakeholders.
  • Devise a training plan for the development team for transition to Maintenance & Operations.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job description

As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll be comfortable with the development, design, and implement customizable solutions within Salesforce based upon CRM needs for the Michigan Enterprise Contact Center team at the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Work with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and any future enhancements.
  • Ensure that the technical requirements tie back to the established customer requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with the client's long-term strategy.
  • Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
  • Has overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments
  • Compile internal development guidelines/standards for the development team and ensure the team is following those standards.
  • Collaborating with Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business.
  • Ensures the proposed solutions adhere to SOM security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology and an ability to communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and be a trusted voice at the decision-making table.
  • Devise a training plan for the development team for a smooth and successful transition to Maintenance & Operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required Skills
  • Demonstrated hands on experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle
  • 6+ years of strong Salesforce development experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with Service Cloud
  • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
  • Strong experience in migrating from Classic to Lightning.
  • Experience in migrating Legacy Visualforce Portals to Digital Experience Sites.
  • 5+ years of experience with GoMeddo Scheduling customization, or equivalent experience with similar scheduling products.
  • 5+ years of experience with Conga Composer.
  • 3+ years of hands on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including LWC.
Preferred Skills
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce experience cloud certification
  • Other desired skills/qualifications
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the
  • Salesforce Development Lifecycle
  • 6+ years of strong Salesforce development experience
  • 4+ years of experience developing within the Salesforce platform using Apex,
  • 5+ years of experience working with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including LWC
  • 2+ years of experience with API integrations and Single Sign-On (SSO)
