Job summary

The Brain Tumour Charity is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our ITSI team. The role focuses on owning NPC and NPSP orgs, delivering scalable Salesforce solutions, and guiding a small team of Administrators.

You will spearhead data integration and platform optimisation while collaborating with cross-functional groups to meet evolving organisational needs. With 3+ years of Salesforce experience and Platform Developer 2 certification, you will drive best practices, security and performance

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years as Salesforce Developer, ideally including Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and/or Nonprofit Cloud.
Experience designing, developing and maintaining Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow and declarative configuration.
Experience using OmniStudio, particularly OmniScript, to develop guided user experiences and business processes.
Strong experience with data integrations, ETL processes and APIs, integrating Salesforce with third-party platforms and services.
Hands-on experience with n8n or similar integration and workflow automation tools, developing and maintaining reliable automated data flows.
Experience taking technical ownership of Salesforce environments, including solution design, development standards, deployments and platform optimisation.
Experience reviewing and modernising existing Salesforce code, configuration and automations, applying Salesforce best practice and improving maintainability and performance.
Experience gathering and translating complex business requirements into scalable, effective and user-focused technical solutions.
Experience delivering complex Salesforce projects and enhancements, managing priorities and working effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Take technical ownership of NPC and NPSP Salesforce orgs, ensuring architecture is secure, scalable and aligned with priorities.
Provide technical leadership for Salesforce, embedding best practices across design, Apex, Flow, integrations, testing, deployment and optimisation.
Line manage and develop two Senior Salesforce Administrators, guiding workload prioritisation and coaching.
Own and develop Salesforce data integration layer, optimise automation tools and ensure scalable data flows.
Design, develop and enhance Salesforce solutions to improve processes and user experience.
Collaborate with teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Deliver Salesforce projects meeting priorities, timescales and standards.
Lead review and optimisation of automations and code, migrating to current best practices.
Maintain security, integrity and quality of Salesforce systems and data; troubleshoot issues and improve data quality.
Oversee Salesforce configuration and administration (users, permissions, objects, fields, layouts, flows).
Drive continuous improvement of Salesforce environment, with performance and resilience focus.
Oversee governance of CRM data ensuring policy compliance.
Support documentation and knowledge sharing within ITSI and stay updated with Salesforce releases.
