Job summary

FormativGroup seeks an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and support scalable Salesforce solutions in a hybrid Connecticut-based environment. You will work across Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, SOQL, and integration patterns, driving the full SDLC from requirements to implementation.

Qualifications

• Active Salesforce certifications, minimum Platform Developer I.
• 10+ years of technology experience, including 8+ years Salesforce development.
• Experience with Apex, object-oriented programming, SOQL, configuration, CRUD, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing Lightning pages and Visualforce pages.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning pages, Visualforce pages, SOQL, and Salesforce configuration.
• Drive work from requirements through implementation with strong ownership, organization, and follow-through.
• Apply object-oriented programming, CRUD concepts, Salesforce design patterns, and advanced Salesforce development practices.
• Provide analysis and requirements support for application integrations.
• Work across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and support.
• Create and maintain required technical documentation to support development, implementation, and ongoing platform needs.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
• Share experience and technical judgment with the team to help plan, execute, and accomplish project goals.
• Mentor less experienced team members and support strong development practices across the team.
• Use creativity, problem-solving, and sound judgment to support complex Salesforce development and integration needs.
