Job summary

HESFP, LLC in the Greater Washington, DC area is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and optimize Salesforce data workflows and enterprise case management solutions. You will use Apex, LWC, and SOQL to design secure, scalable integrations and support data migration and ETL processes in a regulated federal environment.

This role requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance, and onsite work five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Developer experience.
• Strong skills in Apex, LWC, Lightning, and Salesforce configuration.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs and building integrations with external systems.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement enhancements for platform performance, security, and user experience.
• Support and lead Salesforce data migration efforts by extracting, cleansing, transforming, validating, and loading data while ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Develop ETL processes, SQL queries, and automation scripts to support data mapping, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and successful Salesforce deployments.
• Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and declarative tools (Flows, validation rules, approval processes).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements and compile structured and unstructured data in the cloud, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Analyze historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods.
• Develop and implement business processes, automation, tooling, and scripting that support data governance.
• Collaborate with security/compliance to implement platform controls aligned to federal requirements.
