Job summary

HESFP, LLC, part of Cherokee Federal, is seeking a Data Engineer, Senior to build secure Salesforce solutions in a regulated federal environment. You will design with Apex, LWC, and integrations, support data migration, and implement ETL processes powering data-driven decisions.

Join a team working to meet federal requirements (NIST/FedRAMP-aligned) and collaborate with security, compliance, and business stakeholders. Onsite work in the Greater Washington, DC area is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
5+ years hands-on Salesforce Developer experience.
Strong skills in Apex, LWC, Lightning, and Salesforce configuration.
Experience designing and consuming APIs and building integrations.
Working knowledge of Salesforce security fundamentals and Agile environments.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze requirements and implement Salesforce enhancements.
Lead Salesforce data migration efforts: extract, cleanse, transform, validate, and load data.
Develop ETL processes, SQL queries, and automation scripts.
Design Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and declarative tools.
Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
Implement reporting, dashboards, and audit-support features for compliance.
Contribute to DevOps practices with CI/CD and automated testing.
